Beggars

Have you ever come upon a beggar? What were your actions? Did you give him some money to relieve yourself or just made an excuse that you have no money. Have you ever thought why someone begs? In our country you can see them anywhere and everywhere. Well I’ve an idea. What if I collect some of them like a badass and put them up for collecting money. Looking at the growing population, this can be a very good business idea. I’ll collect some kids with rugged cloths, some blind guys, and some amputees. People really donate more to such guys.

Some people may think I’m so cruel to think about such concepts. Well this wasn’t my idea. Its today’s reality that we fail to see. The world is not the same now as it was on the time of Lord Rama. We are living in the present, where humans do anything ( I really mean anything )  to get a piece of green paper with which he can fulfill his desires.

I you’re news reader or if you watch those crime shows, you would know that, chains of gang run across cities who earn from the collection of beggars. Such people have only one god; money. They kidnap children amputate them and send them to another city to beg. This can be unbelievable to some, but it’s the truth. While the developed countries are enjoying there richness, such crimes are happening every time in the developing countries.

I’m not a pessimist nor do I want to depress anyone. I just want these things to end. If we just sit and wait for the government to do something than it’s not gonna end. We’ve to be the part of the change to make a change.

To stop these beggar mafias you must stop their earning. So if a beggar come to you next time don’t give him money, instead give him some food and encourage him to do some work.

One Good Thing About Me

One Good Thing About Me

Do you know any one good thing about yourself? After a lot of thinking about my existence in this world, I found out that I also do some good things; and can do more for the world. Well I’m good at saving energy. I always switch off fan, bulbs or TV when not in use. I don’t let the tap running while brushing my teeth. I mostly do not take polythene bags if I can hold the thing in my arms and I always try to bring my cotton bag to carry stuff.

It’s not always about saving money. At our home we don’t need to pay the electricity bill or water bill as a fixed little amount is deducted from my father’s salary as bills. But still we save energy and use LED bulbs instead of tungsten bulbs that consume so much energy.

It feels good that I’m not alone. The state government is also giving its share of good work by banning the plastic bags. Its good to see that this rule is actually working. About 80% shops don’t give plastic bags in my city. They give a cotton bag with an additional cost of ₹3 (4 US cents).

You should also practice new ways to save energy and reducing pollution. If you have any feel free to tell me.
